Here's a little about each of our actors;



PHYLLIS CARTHY - "ANGELA"

Phyllis Carthy trained at The Gaiety School of Acting. She has a vast amount of experience in theatre, some of her roles include Milly in “Getting Attention” for the Dublin Fringe,  Players Theatre directed by Catherine McGovern, Art Lady in “The Idiots”, Axis Theatre Ballymun and Project Arts Theatre, Temple Bar, directed by Gavin Quinn, Pan Pan, Chrissie in “ Lorraine Bailey” toured various theatres directed by Gareth Mahoney and Brian Murray, Four Forks Theatre Company, Hecuba in the award winning “Trojan Women”, Smock Alley, directed by Rodrigo Rodrigues and Alan King, The Core, The Moon and Neighbour “Blood Wedding” Project Arts Theatre, Temple Bar directed by Ronnie McCann, Curan Theatre Company,  Isobel in “Wither” Smock Alley directed by Victoria Fradgely, Tabs Theatre Company, Molly in “The Last Word” The Mill Theatre Dundrum directed by Tracy Ryan, Fishamble. Phyllis is presently playing Lizzie Murphy in “Revolution” which was devised for The Collaberations in Smock Alley and is touring various venues, directed by Tracy Ryan. Her film work includes Maureen in “The Farm”, Lisbeth in “Vale Road” and Jean in “Apollo Music Club”.  Phyllis is delighted to be back playing  Angela in “A Nice Bed to Die In” which had a very successful run in The Civic Arts Theatre in Tallaght.




BREID MORRIS - "MARIE"

Bréid started acting at 16 and has received many awards. After taking a break to raise her family, Bréid then returned to the acting world having completed a H.Dip, in Theatre & Media Production. Television credits include High Society (Big Mountain Prods.) Ghosts (RTE) Idiri Mna (Midas Productions) she has also been in a number of short films.
Some of Bréid's recent roles include Sister Irene 'Feck Off Crows' Storyteller 'The Time Machine' Johanna 'Aufseherin' Mrs Birling A'n Inspector Calls' Frau Schmidt 'The Sound of Music' Lady Battersby,'Me & My Girl' Mrs Bukowski 'Hair' Peggy 'Quare Times' Jesus Christ Superstar, Rising After Redundancy, Mary Kate 'The Country Boy ' Moya 'Red Roses & Petrol' Dunya 'The Donoghue Sisters' Nelly The Post'The Righteous are Bold' Nora 'A Dolls House' Riders to the Sea, Maisey Madigan 'Juno and the Peacok' 'A View From The Bridge' Josie 'The Silver Tassie'.




ERICKA ROE - "NURSE"

Ericka is from Ballyfermot, Dublin. At 18 she began studying at Bull Alley Theatre Training Company where she has just completed her final year in may this year. She has played many diverse roles in college productions such as Kate Murphy in 'Titanic' the musical, Athena in "The Suppliant Women", Flareit in the restoration comedy "Love's Last Shift" and Doll Tearsheet in Shakespeare's "Henry iv Part 2". Ericka has played the role of Jessica, a boisterous young Dubliner, in the thought provoking play 'Bring Me Back Alive' by Patricia McCann highlighting the affects of suicide and suicide awareness. Her most recent roles have been Mizz Pepper in 'Head in a Book' which debuted in July in the Ten Day's of Dublin Theatre festival and She has just finished up in the Galway Fringe Festival in the play "Reality Show's" with Blank Canvas Theatre Company where she played the role of Ruby Lee. She has also starred in Luke Leslie's Talenthouse music video for Queen's "Sheer Heartsttack" which is now the official video for the song.




ALISON FITZPATRICK - "ELANOR"

Alison started training in the Gaiety School of Acting and then went on to attend workshops with David Scott. She had her first professional role in January 2012 of 'Bound' where see played the role of 'Jess' with No tears productions. She has worked with the Talisman Theatre company with the musical Little Red Riding Hood and she has also worked with RTE on the series The Fear aired in 2012. She studied Performance Arts and musical theatre in Bull Alley where she played the roles of 'Hecuba' in 'The Woman','King of France' in 'Henry V' and various roles in the musical 'Evita'. She most recently played protagonist Ellen Byrne in the New Theatres sell out show 'Lockout'.





BARRY MCKIERNAN - "TREVVY"

This is Barry's first time working with No Tears productions which sees him taking up the role of Trevvy. Barry is in his final year of training at Bull Alley his recent productions include, "The Pillars of Society" where Barry played Mr. Krap directed by Neville Styles. King Henry the fourth part 1 playing Bardolph directed by Alan Kinsella and more recently Jack Worthing in Duked Productions summer tour of "The Importance Of Being Ernest"



NIALL BRUTON - "TERRENCE"

Niall appeared in the self devised production of “Reality Shows” in The Exchange Arts Centre ; Project Arts Centre and most recently as part of this year’s Galway Fringe Festival. Other theatre experience include Olympia Pantomimes (2005-2008) and “King John” , “Major Barbara” and “Methusalem” in the Loose End space . Musical appearances include “Titanic” and “Tommy, The Who Musical” in The Civic Theatre Tallaght. Niall has also presented documentary for the Courts of Ireland and appeared in Short Films “ Uncle Bills Barrel” and “MyFathers Trousers”. He performed in his first feature film role as “Fergal” in the horror movie “Outcast. Most recently finished filming with 24 Hours to Kill, Moonfleet, Crimecall and Ripper Street.



CONOR SCOTT - "GERALD"

Conor took to the stage for the first time in April, 2012 in a showing of work in Bewely's Cafe under the guidance of Bryan Burroughs. In June he appeared in "Skip To The End", a play directed by Vincent O'Reilly as part of the "10 days of Dublin Festival". In August he appeared in "The Horse Trading Dairies" in the New Theatre. In September he was part of Sugarglass Theatre's production of "All Hell Lay Beneath" as part of the Absolute Fringe which was nominated for spirit of the fringe and best off sight production. In December Conor will be appearing in a number of Fishamble's Tiny plays in the Mill Theatre. He appeared in Neil Lebute's "The Shape of Things" in the Exchange in Temple Bar and once again took part in this year’s 10 Days in Dublin Festival in “Scabs” directed by Naomi Ester. He will soon be seen in Fastnets feature film "Get up and go" directed by Brendan Grant,.
