ANAROSA DE EIZAGUIRRE BUTLER - DIRECTOR

Anarosa trained in Liverpool. Her background in Physical Theatre and devising led her to building a substantial amount of work during her time there. She travelled to Sybiu, Romania with Alfred Jarry's Ubu Roi and the National Student Drama Festival with a piece of original writing called 'Equation of a Child's Laughed' by Mat Smith in just her first year at Uni. She developed a sense for directing through her physical theatre training. Adapting and deconstructing texts, then reshuffling in order to see what happens is always an exciting venture. More recently she is associate producer on 'Protoverse'. A U.K feature film currently directed by up and coming British director Rupert Booth. Not so long ago she set up L'EQUIPE ALVAROSA. Her own company, and her first production as executive producer, 'The Early Hours' by Bernard Field and directed by Emmet Kelly, received sell out audiences at The New Theatre. She is super excited to finally be working with Derek Masterson and returning to rehearsal room with her favourite usual suspects Emmet Kelly and Anthony Blake.
