After the great success of the critically acclaimed “BOUND”, NO TEARS PRODUCTIONS are proud to return to THE NEW THEATRE with this new heart-warming Irish drama, "A NICE BED TO DIE IN" (written by DEREK MASTERSON and directed by STEVEN MASTERSON)

WARNING – SHOW CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE

SHOW SYNOPSIS

"Two women. Similar in age. About to die. … That’s where the similarity ends."

Two mature women find themselves sharing the same room in a private terminal cancer unit; the only
problem being they are from very different post codes in Dublin.

“A Nice Bed to Die In” looks at the social and class differences in Dublin through the eyes of two very different women as they both come to terms with coming to the end of their lives.

"A thoughtful and entertaining piece of work with great performances…go for the giggles but bring tissues for the teary bits!"
Kate O'Connor - QualityWaffle.ie

"I laughed out loud and some of the lines stayed with me. Very wittily written.”
